This is an example of what your costs may look like… (kWHR based)
- The driver is charged 50p/kWHR using a 22kW charger.
- The driver is parked for up to 2 hours & their battery is down to 50% charge (22kW)
- The driver drives a Tesla model S which has a 100kW Battery & 360-mile range. – The driver will consume approx. 44 kWHR’s. – This charge will provide an estimated 180 miles of range. Please note that these figures are estimates and other variables such as size of battery and charge may vary
The cost of electricity to you the host may be £11 but you charge your customer £22. You’ll be charged £2.80 by Connekt and you as the host will then receive £19.80. After your electricty charge of £11 has then been taken, you make a profit of £9.80.

A typical charging rate from a 22kw charger is between £10 – £24. This is what your customers or employees will expect to pay as standard.
