Gestamp is an international group dedicated to the design, development, and manufacture of metal automotive components. Gestamp’s Newton Aycliffe plant reached out to the Harvey Electrical Services team to install and reconfigure gas, air and power services for weld cell re-location in Plant 5.

Weld cells are pre-engineered robotic machines designed for welding specific parts in a certain size range. They offer benefits for easy and fast installation and a much lower first cost.

The relocation of the weld cell was a very well-planned and orchestrated project with our team working to ensure minimal downtime for the fast paced and productive working environment.
