Due to the amazing work the Butterwick Hospice do, we are proud to be official supporters for another year. The Butterwick Hospice are close to our heart and so we wanted to continue our support for this amazing charity.
The Butterwick Hospice was established in 1984 as The John Butterwick Day Care Centre by the incredible and courageous Mary Butterwick. An amazing journey has seen the hospice grow from strength to strength with three hospice centres now operating in Stockton and Bishop Auckland along with three outreach centres attached to hospitals in Sedgefield, Stanhope and Barnard Castle. All providing care for people of all ages who are living with a progressive life limiting illness.
All of The Butterwick Hospice’s services are provided free of charge to those diagnosed with illness. Which is why they rely upon donations from businesses and the public to fund the care.
Throughout our time supporting the Butterwick Hospice, we have taken part in a range of fundraising activities such as the It’s a Knockout competition, in which we completed an assault course against other teams to score the most points. We also pride ourselves in attending various corporate and networking events held by the Butterwick to help us integrate even further into the community and to help spread the Butterwick Hospice message.
